A Liter of Hope: Unioil to Aid Typhoon Ulysses Victims
Manila, Philippines (November 17, 2020) – With the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, thousands of Filipinos lost their homes. The wrath of the typhoon has displaced more than a hundred thousand families in Cagayan and Isabela. It has also left millions of damage in their livelihood and infrastructure. Residents were forced to flee their own homes, while some took refuge at the roof of their houses while waiting to be rescued.
With this, Unioil launches its Liter of Hope campaign effective today as a way to help the victims recover from the damages brought to life and livelihood by Typhoon Ulysses. Proceeds of this donation drive will be given to the affected people of Catanduanes. This will be coursed directly through their provincial government.
With the Liter of Hope initiative, PHP 1 per liter will be donated for every purchase of Euro 5 Gasoline (91, 95, and 97) and PHP 0.50 for every liter of Euro 5 Diesel from November 17-30, 2020. Through this, Unioil hopes to encourage motorists to also do their part by coming together in helping our kababayans who were greatly devastated by Typhoon Ulysses – all while choosing the fuel that is good for their car and the environment.
Your drive goes a long way with Unioil.
